48 days out. Wear the shirt to the fair.

48 days until Election Day, and early voting opens in 20. Holy moly. Our meeting is today at 2:30, and the one thing I need from you starts Saturday at the fair.
What I Did
Last week was a busy one. I was out knocking doors, and we held three house parties in the same week.
Thank you to Shimul Shah, Tracy Wisard, and Todd and Beth Francis for opening your homes. I enjoyed meeting everyone who came and talking about where Delaware County is headed.
From the County
When early voting opens, you will see three countywide levies on your ballot along with my race. One is a 0.2% sales tax for Delaware County Transit. That's about 20 cents on a $100 purchase, and it's the first tax the agency has ever asked for.
The agency's own 2026 budget spends about $6.75 million against $4.5 million coming in, and covers the gap from savings. It gave 200,478 rides last year. A quarter went to riders 65 and older, and the most common reason people ride is getting to work.
I'm not telling you how to vote on it. Voters decide that, not commissioners. What commissioners do control is the board. We appoint all seven members, and I will appoint for competence and expect the finances reported in public whichever way the vote goes.

What I Need
Come to the fair and wear the shirt. Pick any day between this Saturday and next Saturday, put on your Grissinger for Commissioner T-shirt, and walk around. I'll have cards and flyers you can hand out. When someone asks, send them to ryangrissinger.com/survey to read about the issues and take the survey.
You don't need a script or a clipboard, and you don't need to know every issue. The goal is for people to see the name Grissinger for Commissioner as many times as possible. An hour of walking around counts. If you need a shirt or a stack of cards, text me at 614-203-9405.
If the fair doesn't work for you, take home a bundle of postcards instead: ryangrissinger.com/volunteer (check "Postcards & letter writing").
Postcards need stamps. A donation at ryangrissinger.com/donate helps cover postage and printing.
Bottom Line
Delaware County is the fastest growing county in Ohio. The fair is one of the few places where people from all 18 townships end up walking the same grounds. That makes it a good place to start a conversation about planning for what comes next.
48 days until Election Day. 20 until early voting opens on October 6.
Plan the growth. Protect what matters.
Ryan
P.S. Forward this to a neighbor who hasn't looked at the transit question yet.
