Defending Democracy / No Kings Protest
Every Saturday, noon to 1 PM
Grassroots, peaceful protest running continuously since October 2025. One of dozens of weekly protests coordinated across Central Ohio.
Delaware First Friday
First Friday of each month
Monthly downtown Delaware community event. DCDP has a booth for voter contact. Free children's activities, local businesses open late.
Westerville Fourth Friday
Fourth Friday of each month
Monthly Uptown Westerville street festival. DCDP has a booth for voter contact and community outreach. 2026 dates: May 22, June 26, July 24, Aug. 28, Sept. 25, and Oct. 23.

No Kings National Day of Action

Coinciding with Columbus Pride. Delaware will have a noon to 1 PM event at City Hall. Indivisible is planning a float at the Pride Parade plus coordinated protests across the region.

Delaware County MLK Jr. Celebration

Annual celebration. The January 2026 event was held at Ohio Wesleyan (Benes Room). DCDP reserved three tables.

Annual, spring applications
Annual DCDP scholarship for graduating high school seniors in Delaware County. Applications open each spring.
DCDP Petition Signing Events
As needed
Held as needed for active petitions. The most recent event (January 15, 2026 at Delaware Township Hall) drew over 100 attendees.
LEAD Ohio Campaign Academy
Annual (applications typically close in November)
Training program for Democratic candidates. Worth tracking for future cycles and for connecting with other candidates who went through it.
