Delaware County · 2026
Plan the growth.
Protect what matters.
I'm running for Commissioner to serve every person who calls Delaware County home.
Platform
Three Priorities
Plan the Growth
Delaware County is one of the fastest-growing counties in Ohio, and the decisions being made now on roads, sewers, and zoning will shape it for decades. I'll push for a public 10-Year Growth Impact Forecast, one clear document, updated every year, that shows residents what our growth means for infrastructure and what it will cost. Growth should pay for itself, so new development funds its share of roads, fire, EMS, and water instead of leaving existing residents with the bill. And we fund it before we build it, with operating costs secured before projects are approved.
Protect What Matters
People moved here for good schools, safe neighborhoods, and a community worth raising a family in. Growth should not cost us those things. I'll work to keep schools and emergency services ahead of the rooftops, not behind them, and to keep Delaware County a place young people can actually afford to stay. The goal is simple. Our kids and grandkids inherit a county that's even better than the one we have today.
Serve the Whole County
This is about public service, not politics. Every township, every community, not just the busy growth corridors and not just one party. I've spent this campaign on a listening tour across all 19 townships, because the county works best when the people running it actually show up and listen. I'll push for better coordination between the county and local communities, and for transparency so residents can see what's being decided and why. When one party has held every seat for decades, somebody on that board should be asking the hard questions.

About
Ryan
"County government should plan ahead instead of reacting to problems after they show up."
I live in Genoa Township with my five kids. I've spent my career building systems for growing companies, including the technology platform that scaled Roof Maxx from zero to 350 locations nationwide. Delaware County is one of the fastest-growing counties in Ohio. I'm running for Commissioner to put those skills to work for the people who live here.

The three commissioners form both the executive and legislative governing body of Delaware County. They set the county budget, oversee infrastructure including roads, bridges, and sewer systems, manage county department budgets, and make decisions on zoning, development agreements, and major capital projects. Every resident of Delaware County is directly affected by what commissioners decide.
Delaware County is one of the fastest-growing counties in Ohio. The decisions being made now about sewer capacity, roads, and development will define the county for decades. Ryan's career has been about building systems that hold up when growth comes faster than expected. He scaled Roof Maxx from zero to 350 locations nationwide. He wants to bring that same discipline to county government.
Plan the growth, protect what matters, and serve the whole county. Planning means a public 10-Year Growth Impact Forecast, making growth pay its own share so existing residents are not stuck with the bill, and funding services before new projects are approved. Protecting what matters means keeping schools, safety, and affordability ahead of the growth. Serving the whole county means public service over politics, showing up in every township, and real transparency and accountability.
Growth is a good thing when it is planned. Ryan's position is that development agreements must require developers to fund their proportional infrastructure impact upfront. Intel's arrival and the surrounding residential and commercial growth will accelerate pressure on roads, sewers, emergency services, and water systems. That growth needs a plan, not a reaction.
