The first batch of postcards is fully distributed. Every one of them is in a volunteer's hands. They are still being written, but 6,000 postcards in process is no small thing.

Thank you to the distributors and the handwriters. May everybody's arm look like Popeye's by the end of this.

Now for wave two. We have ordered 15,000 more postcards. These are a different design, a hybrid piece where most of the message is already printed. That leaves you a small space for a few handwritten words and your first name. Much faster than the first round.

We also need help putting stamps on the finished stacks. That is an easy hour, good company, and no handwriting required.

Thursday, August 20: Catch a Rising Star. This is the county party's event, and Ryan will be there with our other candidates. Tickets are $100, but young Democrats get in for $25. If you are a young Democrat, or you know one, this is a great room to be in. Reach out to Ryan and he will get you connected. There is also information floating around on social media.

Saturday, August 22: Benefit at the Barn. Ryan will be there too.

Friday, August 28: Fourth Friday in Westerville.

Friday, September 4: First Friday in Delaware.
