Five fingers. That is the whole strategy.

Last week you helped kick this campaign off right. About fifty of you came out for the birthday party and fundraiser, and the energy in that room told me everything I need to know. We are not doing this alone.
At the party I asked everyone to hold up one hand, all five fingers out. Five fingers, five people. Hold onto that, because it is the whole plan and I come back to it at the end.
What we did
We celebrated, we raised some money, and we got this campaign officially rolling. I kept the Township Tour going too, showing up at meetings and events across the county. I think you earn this job by doing the work before you have it. And we stayed busy on social media, so give us a follow if you have not yet.
What's coming
Every week our team meets to plan, organize, and get to work. You are invited. This is where the campaign actually happens, and there is a job for everyone.

Good news
This campaign is fully underway, and it is growing. Fifty people at a kickoff, in a county that has not elected a Democrat countywide in about fifty years, is a real signal. Busy times, and honestly the best of times. We have about 110 days left.
What I need from you
First, come to the Wednesday strategy meeting. In person or on Zoom, either works. That one hour is how we turn energy into votes. Not sure how you can help? The volunteer page at ryangrissinger.com lists every job we need, from knocking doors to bringing snacks.
Then, hold up your hand. Five fingers, five people. Here is the ask:
- Tell five people about this campaign.
- Tell five people to follow me on social media.
- Tell five people to volunteer.
- Tell five people to tell five more.
That is how you run a grassroots campaign. That is how we build a county our kids are proud to inherit.
And when you talk to those five, tell them to vote the whole ticket, top to bottom. Sherrod, Amy, Jerrad, Josh, Scott, Vince, Shelby and yes, Grissinger for Commissioner.
Bottom line: five people each, then five more. That is how we plan the growth and protect what matters. Together. See you Wednesday.
