You made the 4th of July. Here's what's next.

Let's start with the parades. THANK YOU. This weekend we had full representation at four of them: Orange Township, Delaware City, Sunbury, and Westerville. I marched in two, and you covered all four. It was hot. Really hot. And you showed up anyway, wore the shirt, carried the banner, and handed out everything we had.

Here's what it did. In just the last couple of days, several people have stopped me to say they saw our banners in the parade. That is the whole game right now. Name recognition is our biggest hurdle, and this weekend we planted a seed in front of thousands of people. I can't thank you enough.

The party is this Saturday (RSVP)

You've probably already heard, maybe by text or Facebook, but here it is once more: my 50th birthday and campaign kickoff, Saturday, July 11th, 6 to 8pm at Pat's Endangered Species in downtown Delaware. If you're planning to come, please RSVP at ryangrissinger.com/party so we get the food count right.

Two things on the party. First, I need a few volunteers for setup, teardown, and helping with food and drinks during the event. If you can pitch in, just reply and let me know. Second, part of this party is a thank-you to you. You've earned it. Come celebrate with us.

New: Weekly Strategy Meeting, every Wednesday

Starting this Wednesday 7/8, we're meeting every week from 5:15 to 6:00 on Zoom. Same time, every Wednesday, all the way to Election Day.

We have ~118 days until the polls open on November 3rd. That's how long we have to introduce ourselves to a county that's never met us. So every Wednesday we answer the questions that decide this race. What are our priorities? How do we reach voters? Which activities actually move the needle? What precincts do we need to win? We figure it out together.

If you want in, just reply to this email or reach out and I'll add you to the invite. Join us if you can. Forty-five minutes a week is how we get to 50,000 votes.

We revamped the volunteer program

Take two minutes and visit ryangrissinger.com/volunteer, even if you've filled it out before. The form now asks how you'd like to help, with updated options you can check off. It helps us match you to the work you actually want to do over the next few months.
